People from Europe in general can still tell what part you're from by your face (no joke). They can also spot the Jew.
You can use internet search to match the face that typically is found where the person claims to have ancestors come from.

will look on monday. i will say though has known poland/russian nose of pre ww1 families. he has a smell like no other and its strong enough to kick a mule in the face. the only time i have ever smell a smell on that level was a family next to my grandmas they were polish and super nice folk but the most disgusting you'll have seen and nothing on a reality show would of prepared you for the site and smell of the home.
