Very people can store enough food for more than a month or even a week.

So what can be grown in the smallest amount of space to be self sustaining?

Potatoes in barrels? Vertical hydro phonics? What plants?Tilapia farming in crates?

Egg laying chickens? Meat chickens?

Beans? The dreaded bugs?

What?

No we aren't talking people with a few acres. I mean people who have to go victory garden style in 1/4 acre or less.

Let's say shit was going to be scarce for 2 years.

My grandfather used to grow potatoes with a stack of car tires lol. Every time his potatoes grew 6inches he'd throw a tire on it and fill it with dirt, then again & again. Until he had a stack of 6 - 8 tires stacked vertically. When he removed the car tires he had enough potatoes to fill buckets.
