use castile soap, and not that questionable shampoo you've been using.
Care to elaborate? I know most shampoo is toxic with all sorts of chemicals and crap, but why is castille soap good?
Shampoo is detergent. It's not soap. Real soap has few ingredients (basically lye and fat) and works well at cleaning.
If it doesn't say, "soap", it's a detergent with a ton of chemicals designed to protect the detergent, not you. Many of the preservatives and surfacants are absorbed through the skin. Especially in pits and scalp. They are a slow toxins administered over your lifetime.
Not that its particularly good. Its that it's not bad. It's just soap, thr original definition of soap. Good old fashioned bar soap.
