I used to teach in TX public schools. We would have to proctor these state student exams for a couple days where teachers could do nothing but observe kids take the test (after reading directions, of course.) No reading or computers or phones allowed. Just watching kids take a test for hours. And this went on for a few days. It was awful. I hated every second of testing days and I found myself getting enraged by the boredom of it all. I don't think I could do it.
