Here is my cold water heater tank, it uses kerosene and coal to pre-heat the water for my hot water heating tank. This setup is perfect because the gas powered hot water heater makes the electric on demand hot water system at each of my sinks very efficient.

Edit: I used to keep my hot water in a hot water warmer to keep that hot water nice and warm, but for some reason, I could only get warm water out of it.

Honestly, I could go for 2 different temperatures and sources of hot water. I guess I could get one of those 5 gallon jug dispensers with the inline electric heater for things like tea, pour over coffee, instant noodles, oatmeal...

Or you could, ya know, just adjust hot and cold to make the temp you want. Unless you are one of those buck toothed brits who have separate hot and cold taps out of fear of dead rats.
