I attended a bible study group at the church. They didn't seem to teach or learn the bible there. I was confused on what they actually did, basically had no interaction with myself that made any sense so I left / never went back.

I remember being told truly totally random lines from the bible. They didn't actually learn, or appear to try and absorb or relate / decipher it at all. The kids (mostly slightly older) hung around in a group with themselves like the whole thing some running thing they were on the inside of.

So I concluded bible study / learning didn't actually happen there. The kids were in some "inside joke" so to speak where they just ultimately truly wasted their time and not even in an entertainingly or enjoyably way, and didn't bring in outsiders. So I didn't go back / waste my time.

I mean to sum it up I could have entered a jerk off session where they had to pretend it wasn't so long as I was there, and it actually never was a bible study for all I can figure out of it.

Yes, I did. We also did crazy stuff. Had a gymnasium available. Went on a "missions trip" to Philadelphia. We went to this one section that was just like a trash heap.

Looking back, it was more of a vacation. But an eye opening one.

That same year we went to Creation music festival. There were about 30 kidsin my youth group. Probably 20 of us went to that. We also checked out a sweet Canadian bible college as a group.

Funny, my grandparents were missionaries in Kensington Philadelphia. One of the few white people there. Grandpop nearly caught a stray bullet to his head. Good memories hanging down there as a kid with my cousins though. Went to an early aughts creation fest. Mainly to see five iron frenzy.

I too did a missions trip to Kensington Ave for church. The local drug kingpin gave us protection, while we were out cleaning and painting. They had really good steak sandwiches.

Years ago we visited the creation museum in San Diego.

I went to two different churches just to get to get the maximum badassery. One church had the best Wednesday night program and my main church had a better youth group and pastor. Our Wednesday night group did awesome things, scavenger hunts, fun community service, we went to North and South Dakota to spread the gospel to Reservations. We still went to Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore and other sight seeing things. Best times of my life.

Went to Honduras with an Orthopedic surgeon from my main church, spent 8hrs on a bus into a town called San Pedro Sula, a small village in the mountains, not the capital. Barely any electricty. Isolated. Gorgeous. The only rooms with AC were the OR's. My doctor friend had been going to this place, building it up, for about 7 or 8 years by the time I got there. I didn't have, or need any medical license as a 17 year old, so my ortho surgeon friend let me cut a guys arm open for him to repair tendons, I held a lady's leg open at her hip for a hip replacement and cut bunions off a dudes foot.

Assisted in a full hysterectomy, totally fucked up. The hip replacement was wild bc here I am holding this massive cut open while the doc takes a hammer and pointy tool to her hip. It was intense.

I've always loved the Mediterranean places. Greece would be a top spot for me to travel to if I got the chance and it wasn't dangerous.

I had a friend and she went to Romania with her church, that'd probably would've been a cool place to see as well.

Lol me too. We had games of capture the flag that looked more like gang fights. We beat the piss out of each other. Good times !

Yeah we would go Monday nights, looking back it was actually pretty fun
