How do the Great Apes, Chimpanzees and Dolphins fit into your world view?
I believe we’re all animals. Seems obvious, but most can not grasp or believe it. Most think we’re somehow a different thing.
Despite biologically, from an overall mechanical thing, we’re exactly the same.
As an underlying factor I agree we are all animal with animal instincts. However the Cerebum is more defined in "higher" animals.
Where is saying "Sentience is capacity of comprehension of how things interact, whereas Sapience is capacity to comprehend the significance and meaning of this interaction."
So is Sapience the ability to overcome basic animal instincts for the good of self or all? Is it the existence/use of a cerebum that allows for Sapience.
Could it be the existence of a neocortex or in the case of dolphins spindel cells?
I believe we are overall similarly built.

You'll see humans actually have the most neurons (at least supposedly in the cerebral cortex). I think it's less of our brains are just built differently, than we just have way more neurons. However it's also because we're built differently in the brain, just like we see other animals built differently physically. However overall, we're more over the same just with more neurons.
