No one in Putin's position is a puppet. He has seized and held power for nearly 20 years. He absolutely controls Russia.

Zelenskyy is obviously the puppet here

Who is right and who is wrong? Those are terms that really don't apply. What matters is if Putin achieves his objectives (which he has enumerated in the terms) or if Zelenskyy/Globohomo remains in power.

Russia has long made it clear there will be conflict if Ukraine tries to join Nato.

U.S. helped change ukranian leadership to a hand picked puppet president who sadly tried to join nato.

Everybody knows that was going to happen next.

Putin wants to take puppet president out of power or defang Ukraines ability to become a threat to Russia.

However, U.S. is not letting Ukraine surrender.

Russia seems to have not anticipated U.S. prolonging Ukraines clear decision to surrender , which will only cause more suffering for both Ukraine and Russia, not to mention Europe and America.
