No that was fake, those ovens had wooden doors.
I think you are mistaken with the "gas chambers" with windows and wooden doors (used to kill lice in clothes).
Regarding the ovens, the chimneys where built after the war and weren't even connected to the crematorium, used for those who died of typhus, to prevent the spread of the disease.

It was never tried, there were no ovens or gas chambers, how can something fail, if it’s never tried?
