In thinking on long-term survival, the subject of blood is important.
Ideally, you'd have the means/resources to store it properly first. Then, the expertise to take your own blood and store it. If you do this for like 3 years, every few weeks, you'll end up with a significant supply of your own blood- which would literally save your life in a scenario like you describe.
Unfortunately, this is simply not feasible for like.. anybody. So, you'll be getting vaxed, indirectly.
