Here's a good rule of thumb if you're hearing good physics or bullshit. Infinity is strictly a mathematical concept. It does not exist anywhere in nature. If a theory requires or uses infinity, it's bullshit. The big bang theory is a catholic church invention. One which requires magic like dark matter, dark energy, and black holes to sorta make sense with mathematics and little non-theoretical thought experiments.
