I'm 31. Working as a MRI supervisor in a large hospital. I've been in the medical field for 7 years, the longer I'm in it, the more I can't stand it. I have 54 people who I supervise. Most of them are self righteous, "powerful", independent women. I will spare you the details..

I'm really looking to get out and start new. I also have a family so I have to consider that. I've thought of learning a trade. Working for myself.. sure just doing what? What do the good citizens of poal do for a living? What do you recommend?

I don't know enough about medical field to give you complete advice, but since you got enough experience, maybe you should consider starting your own business that would provide some kind of service to the hospitas/clinics/medical professionals?

7 years is a lot of professional experience in most industries, especially ones like medical where before entering it you have to complete x number of years of education. It would be a shame to give all that up and start over.

I agree, open your own business. Then run it however you want, if you play your cards right you can get one of those "not welcoming to LGBTQ" icons on your Google map listing.

there's a lot of businesses that just provide MRI services to the medical community.
