I'm 31. Working as a MRI supervisor in a large hospital. I've been in the medical field for 7 years, the longer I'm in it, the more I can't stand it. I have 54 people who I supervise. Most of them are self righteous, "powerful", independent women. I will spare you the details..

I'm really looking to get out and start new. I also have a family so I have to consider that. I've thought of learning a trade. Working for myself.. sure just doing what? What do the good citizens of poal do for a living? What do you recommend?

Well this is freaking awesome. You could employee some people on Poal haha that way you have like minded gents working for you. I will look into SEO and SEM. Seems pretty cool if you could work from home. You have a family?

Yeah a big reason I want to have my own company is to hire people who deserve it. I want a chill work environment where people can pick their own hours and work as much/little as they want as long as the clients are happy. A lot of these accounts don't require tons of maintenance once you optimize them.

One client pays me $2,600 a month on management fees for a few accounts that are out performing expectations even when I don't touch them anymore. I do a few hours of maintenance and make sure reports are good to go at the end of each month. None of my employees will need to be stuck in 8 hour soul sucking hours wasting their time. That's the dream/goal.

I'm going to be trying for my first kid next month, actually.

I tried two years ago but my life fell apart. Had to get work in order, bought a house, and now I feel a bit more free financially. It's a bit later than I wanted but life doesn't always go the way you want. Just gotta try and make the best of it where you can.

That's great man. Good luck to you and your family. Thanks for the info too.

Thanks! We won't need luck. I'm laying the foundation for a nice strong empire.

Let me know if you ever have questions about anything! Once I'm encorporated and finished training and setting up my current friends/family with some steady clients I'll probably be looking to expand. I can't promise to help now, but hopefully in the future handing out jobs to good lads will be 100% doable on the fly.
