I'm 31. Working as a MRI supervisor in a large hospital. I've been in the medical field for 7 years, the longer I'm in it, the more I can't stand it. I have 54 people who I supervise. Most of them are self righteous, "powerful", independent women. I will spare you the details..

I'm really looking to get out and start new. I also have a family so I have to consider that. I've thought of learning a trade. Working for myself.. sure just doing what? What do the good citizens of poal do for a living? What do you recommend?

You could become a guy maintaining heavy equipment, millwright, or something along those lines. Cyber security pays well also.

OP try to get a job that’ll let you make a difference. Be a judge, an FBI agent, or even a sheriff deputy or something.

We need more based people in the right positions to help save the country.

Cyber can definitely be lucrative, but you're often going to be working for DoD, and you're likely going to need to start at the bottom and work your way up with crap jobs plus a new degree plus big certifications, plus get clearance. OP would need to invest several years into it and be willing to work with super-woke again to make good money.

Not saying it isn't possible - it is. I just think it's much more of a commitment for OP than he's looking to make with a family to support.

Bookkeeping is easy as fuck to get into - there are barely any regulations and there are lots of courses out there that teach you how to do it. But Indians and Philippinos are all over that industry fucking shit up for cheap, so the only way to make real money in that field is to offer a combo of bookkeeping and CFO services. CFO means charging at least $1,500 per month per client. You do the math. Could be done while maintaining the day job, and I know people in the field making 6 and 7 figures - many of them having both husband and wife working jointly.
