I've been hearing tons of reports on Russians disapproving of Putin's actions and being heavily demoralized, but why would they be? What's the point in faking this? Shouldn't the (((Media))) be trying to demonize all Russians?

MSM are demonizing Putin and his associates as evil villains but they want people to believe that Russia is a country of poor dumb helpless peasants being oppressed by tsar-like Putin, but yearning for liberation. It similar to the view of blacks as helpless oppressed victims.

Same thing they did in the west. You only need 10-20% of the population to be very vocal on an issue to shift public opinion.
