I voted for burgers because I rarely ever go out for fast food and also don't make much fried food. When I have a burger it's almost always one I made myself, unless we're at a pub and I have one. (Also not a common occurrence.)

Decent fish and chips you can only really get in certain parts of the UK. Decent burgers you can find anywhere. My city in England has the best voted fish and chips place in the country from a few years back, and also a really good burger joint. It's a close call but I prefer fish and chips. Problem with burgers is that it's just a poor mans steak.

I just prefer beef over any other food, so burger wins. Fish and chips are great too.

My stomach doesn'twellwell on most heavily fried fish anymore. I don't really like it... A few places do it right though, a good fried fish sandwich is tough to come by but amazing when you have one.
