So I’m going into a traditionally hostile work environment where I get a great deal of harassment. If it happens again, I’d like to sue the shit out of them. What’s the best way to capture video and sound and not get caught. Walking around with a teddy-bear won’t work. Almost, but not quite. I’ll be dressed casually. Budget of $1k.

Some kind of camera that is disguised as an everyday object, maybe a phone. Joke aside, get a background recording app (I like Quick Video Recorder for Android). This can be running in the background constantly, so your phone will look normal, with home icons etc. Probably set it to the front camera, since it would look less suspicious than pointing the back of the phone at them. Get a feel for how wide an angle the selfie camera is.

Record it for your own recollection and then use the recording to make notes. But if you don't have witnesses to corroborate your story, good luck.

They have those chinese camera pens, i keep one by my desk and you can enable/disable it fairly naturally. Quality isnt super good but i got it for like 6 bucks from banggood

Body cam. Find out the laws in your State before recording !

Watch out. If you're in a state that requires all parties to consent to being recorded your recordings can't be used in court and might land you in jail.
