Easy to say when you live in the city. My nearest small pop store is an hour away becuase Walmart moved in and they all went belly up.
Yeah, that's why I don't shop there anymore, I've seen that happen before. Luckily I'm only about 20 miles away from some small shops though for certain things like my bank it's well over an hour for me.
It is like you didn't see the south park episode about walmart and how people will build any corporation up until it is no longer serving the needs of the community because of the scope of the service demanded from it by the same community. And then they will rail against the monstrosity they created only to build up a subsequent beast in its place.
Plus I don't have to smell my balls.
