No.
They won't escalate to the point of a direct conflict with another major power. This isn't much different from the U.S. invading Afghanistan. They're just planning on capturing the territory rather than funneling money into their military industrial complex. They're doing that because if NATO gains influence, they may no longer be friendly with their trade policies, and Russia has a lot of energy infrastructure that branches through Ukraine. It's also tactically significant; it's a historical invasion pathway. This is sort of a pre-emptive defensive act, not a sign that they want to further expand their territory beyond the former soviet states.
They don't need to invade the USA, it will collapse on its own. When the USA is in the middle of a civil war and when the federal government becomes ineffective, they will probably strike but so will China and Mexico.
Haha Mexico.
One can only hope
One can only wish. Biden (that fucking fake president) would shit.
Well, if they did maybe we could get some oil development and mining done. Wouldn't have to deal with the morons running Anchorage. Have to think about it.
It would probably be a win win for Alaskans. I’m used to seeing Russians living here but global homo sends us more niggers and Muslims, thanks US!
Latvia and Lithuania, maybe, but not Alaska.
They will annex Seattle and Portland which are already socialist cities.
Doubt it. It wouldn't go well for them. They wouldn't have to hand out guns to civilians like they did in Ukraine. The farthest left liberals I know in Alaska are pro gun and have a closet full of guns. Everyone else has even more guns.
Putin is going full retard. He won't stop at Ukraine. He is an old man with nothing to lose he is sacrificing his children for his ego.
> Not our business. We should secure the southern border first.
Why do you say this? Not doubting you. Curious why you have this opinion. If I were in his shoes I wouldn’t want Ukraine in NATO and I would need that infrastructure. But I live in the woods and don’t watch the flashybox
