You can search by sentence you or can randomly pick a page.
If I wanted to troll people I would claim to have created every possible combination of characters and words in my "library." I would then let them search to see for themselves, except all my search does is generate a few hundred random words or characters and stick their searched phrase in the middle of it. How would they know that it didn't already exist in the library?
If they wanted to "browse" I would just generate each page of random characters or words on the fly.
Without being able to download the entire library and search for youself, there's no way to verify this isn't what's happening behind the scenes.
That’s what some people think. Why is it so hard to imagine
It's not hard to imagine, but why go to the trouble when the results are indistinguishable from the way I described?
Pretty sure it's fake as fuck. Easy way to test for yourself:
- Go to the search page and enter a bunch of random characters.
- Note where they are found on the alleged "page"
- Go back to the search page and use another string of random characters.
- Note that they're suspiciously found at the same place in the "page" of random characters.
Repeat as often as you like.
The probability of completely random text being found at the same character position on all four pages is astronomical.
