I know a Canadian who lives and works in the States for the last thirty five years. No green card. He runs his own cash business, owns a home, and is married with two kids. Don't know if he pays taxes or not. He keeps a low profile because he doesn't want to get kicked out. Nobody looks twice at the white guys.
