Alien invasion probably. They’ll cause this fake world war, make society totally crazy and just at the right time… we come in peace. Then dumbass people will just go along with the government the supposed aliens are handing down to us.

I believe you’re on to something. The Breakaway Civilization is real, and they’re filled with genetically engineered supermen living subterraneously, lunar-ly, and perhaps peppered all throughout the solar system.
