What significance would taking over the capital really have? It seems like all Russia needs to do is be the one in an area with the most guns and say they are in charge. The media is putting a ton of focus on the capital. Why is that city so important?

I don't believe that the Russian Federation will come close to what the criminal NATO allies led by the Clinton crime family did to Yugoslavia, with trumped up charges of crimes against humanity, all LIES. It was a pretext to remove Milosevic because he would not be bullied and remained pro-Russia. NATO the muscle of the world banking cartels, destroyed thousands of buildings and homes, the infrastructure, water distribution, communications, electrical grid etc. resulting in billions of dollars in damage, guaranteeing that Serbia would be indebted to the Rothschild banking cartel for rebuilding the country for many decades to come. It was also because Milosevic sent the military to protect the farmers in Kosovo from the invading Muslims coming out of Albania that were butchering their livestock in the middle of the night stealing their grain stores and murdered thousands of Serbian farm families adults and children. Of course President Milosevic also paid the farmers with real gold for their products which was a big NO NO for the banking cartels, in case other nations caught on and abandoned the use of fiat currency. Also remember when George Soros said that any government that does not allow mass immigration into Europe would be toppled.

Kosovo was the most ancient and historical part of Serbia stolen by the Muslims with the blessing of the NATO allies. The Serbian people suffered tremendously because of our NATO crimes.

President Putin indicated that they would protect the breakaway states in Ukraine which are mostly Russian, would DENAZIFY which I think is to possibly remove the puppet government in Kiev and demilitarize the Ukraine as well which the Russians believe is a NATO threat and I believe him. They poked at the Russian Bear once too many times, Putin has been very patient for all these eight years, now it is time for action. My two cents.
