you can see which services run, what programs launch at startup, and launch the event viewer from Tools there

or Ctrl+Shift+Esc to see the Task Manager for running programs, processes, and services

If you have not fixed it yet, try FIX ME STICK, its amazing how well it works many government agencies use it. Its a thumb drive that you pop into your pc then run the utility. Make sure that you are connected to the internet as it will fully update the malware files then, it will restart your computer in Command Promp mode something like the old DOS and run the utility while Windows is inactive. If its a virus I won't be able to hide and no need to relearn stuff that you have not had to do in years. Its easy and was even recommended on Shark Tank some years ago. Best of luck bopper!!
