I take air baths, running through the piney-wood forest barefoot in the early morning hours while the mists that lie close to the ground wash me with their tiny droplets of lunar dew. As I flash past, all the forest creatures poke their heads out of their dens to marvel at the mighty thing that is man. Refreshed by the glories of Nature, I return to my abode for an invigorating self-lashing with willow wands, which gives my skin a rosy glow of health, before beginning my daily work of removing the mantle of ignorance from the brows of my fellow human beings.

Bath towels? You fucking pussy. I dry myself with the furs of animals I wrestled to death.

You dry yourself with dead animals? Pussy.

[–] 1 pt

Yea I do. My biggest fur-towel? Ur hairy momma.

The berthy beaver. A patrician tier choice.

Real men dry themselves with alive animals.

One maybe two.

The guy talking about dead skin cells and whatnot clearly doesn't wash himself well. While a shower doesn't rid all, there shouldn't be enough left over to make a towel gross. Plus oils and bacteria are good. The goal should not be to rid yourself of them completely. Taking care to put the towel somewhere where it can dry properly helps it from getting gross.

Yeah I do one per week and towels stay nice

Barf. What the fuck is wrong with it?

[–] 2 pts

One use per towel. Hand towels on days I only do my hair.

Living in an RV I take maybe 2 showers a week, so I use 1 towel per month.

[–] 6 pts

I don't change towels. I have a wife. I keep using the same towel until it mysteriously turns into another, cleaner towel.

[–] 1 pt

Oh you're the guy that travels in an RV you posted here before. Were you once in the Ozarks for a bit?

[–] 2 pts

Yup.. Still here. Just survived a round of snow and ice.

[–] 1 pt

I lived in Nixa south of Springfield for a short time, then further east out in the Ozarks.

Love the Ozarks, more than the Rockies (the Rockies are too tall yikes).

At least one a day. I'm too lazy to wait for them to dry so I just launder them after every shower.

You're talking about the towel you dry with right? That other guy must be thinking about your wash rag or he needs to take better showers. I use one and at the end of the cycle I wash the dog and dry her with it too.

7 days in a week I change my towel every 3 days.

Royalty back in the day took very few baths and sometimes in the winter maybe none can you imagine?

[–] 0 pt

Submersion baths were not common. Cleansing the skin still was.

This was due to a belief that water was impure and caused death, which was brought about by a large amount of drowning deaths due to heavy clothing.

New every day, or else you're wiping yourself with your dead skin cells, oils, and bacteria.

After you've cleaned your body with soap and water you're still dealing with "dead skin cells, oils, and bacteria"?

I use the same towel for several days.

Bruh.

Yep you're wiping a tiny layer of skin off. It's why people sometimes look scrubbed and reddish.

[–] 1 pt

That's not a big deal is it?

[–] 1 pt

If you're not sand stoning off all your dead skin each time you bathe, then you're a smelly nigger.

[–] 0 pt

True. I want to see how many folks actually do this, since that's a ton of laundry

You can use the hand towels, and it's not a big deal if you expect clean clothes as well. Life chores.

If you do a proper job cleaning yourself the towel doesn’t get dirty. After two weeks of being damp and air drying it gets a sanitizing wash to prevent mold or bacteria build up. If you don’t, towels go funky as soon as they get moist again.

If you hang them so they're not folded over on themselves that won't happen unless maybe if your home is really humid.
