For anyone that isn't stuck with a 500 dollar limit the military generator is the way to go. I got one last year cost around 5k 10kw diesel, I'm planning on hooking it up to my heating oil tank at some point, but it has a 10 gallon internal tank and most have a hose to hookup a 50 gallon drum.
