I just took one. I want more. It's got me thinking on that guy Jesus. Like maybe he is coming back. Or at least if evil is real, I have something to push against.

Be careful reading the comments in this thread, some are slightly misleading and oversimplified. Also can be somewhat open for interpretation.

What I can summarize is that evil is real and so is goodness. Both in ways, I would say most people probably don't realize.

Jesus is the son of God, read your bibles and visualize what that means to you as you pray. How do you imagine what that would look like?

Freemasonry has been around pretty much forever, could be as innocent as being a club member to build relationships and receive support or something slightly more devious. The roots go deep but remember don't associate the peak historical evilness with each member. Some are just playing the game to make money and/or build relationships. Some are probably hardworking innocent people in a corrupt system. People make mistakes, have forgiveness in mind.

For Lucifer, I would read Psalm 37 and try to visualize what that means to you.

Because Lucifer is associated with Satan by most Christians, he is wildly misunderstood, and even more misunderstood is how those who have adopted New Age spiritual beliefs see Lucifer. There is nothing evil in the way they regard this angel. They see Lucifer as the symbol of liberation from ignorance. In this sense Lucifer is a neo-Gnostic symbol, just as the New Age movement is a neo-Gnostic movement. It's all about spiritual liberation. It is not anti-Christian, or anti-Jewish, or anti-anything. It is pro spiritual knowledge. It has nothing whatsoever to do with Satanism, which is the glorification of selfishness and the animal impulses. In fact it may truthfully be stated that Lucifarianism (neo-Gnosticism) is the exact opposite of Satanism.

Lucifer is not Satan of course

Spiritual knowledge can be dangerous if you believe you are the possessor of something out of God's world and use it to selfishly instill fear in others. Always remember Lucifer's knowledge comes from God. I would disagree that Lucifiarnaism and Satanism are simply about spiritual liberation without words of control, tyranny, and fear. Perhaps there is some misinterpretation of each other's 'isms' and a middle-ground could be formed based on each virtue. Similar to how governments call themselves one thing but actually represent another. (ex: Nazism / Fascism / Communism/ Socialism).

I doubt there is a middle ground. It's most likely part of the trick.

In order to go down that path, you have to accept "Do what thou wilt". I cannot. Some things are wrong. I'm aware of the supposed difference between Lucifer and Satan. It's all quite clever. It seems like a spiritual intelligence test.

The Psalm is comforting, for sure.
I'm just coming to terms with the fact that the world is covered in evil at the moment. I'm trying to see what's true and what I can rely on. Knowing what is true is important to me. Not because I want to leverage power, but just to know.

Not against Christianity at all, though relying on Jesus/God to fix everything won't help you in the immediate term. You're best off trying to forge your way through this, rather than leaving it to something supernatural to do it for you.

As a practical person, I appreciate your sentiment. I have a feeling that decisions will have to be made soon that will require a deep, trusting faith in God. I think it’s vital to secure one’s principals. My understanding of Good and Evil has changed radically and I’m trying to figure it out.

I completely understand that view as I think that is true for most.

Knowing the truth is important as a Christian as Jesus doesn't hide behind lies. What makes the truth dangerous is that the higher truths are only for the bravest and most courageous ones (notice how I avoided the word "Fearless"). What you refer to as "Redpills" are tiny douses of the truth that are meant to be slowly spoon-fed with time to digest and think about for good reason. It is very easy to overdose on the truth as it is addicting and dangerous in high amounts. Higher truths are red mountains compared to red pills and aren't easy to swallow and can cause massive pain if you don't have good faith.

As for leveraging power, I think most say they would never do it, but it's important to understand that absolute power corrupts absolutely, and sometimes even just handing off the power or receiving it is destructive itself. I say save the power for God and let him handle the things that would require using it. Pray to him when you need his blessings as you will receive them.

So true. Thank you. In a certain light, Evil being real and dominant in the world isn’t a huge surprise. The organization of it might be, but this world is pretty well suited to it taking root?? I don’t know. God bless
