The quote from Albert Pike was taken out of context. I looked it up in the source material he was talking negatively about Lucifer if you keep reading. Manly P. Hall wrote a lot about Masonry before he was even a member. A lot of the negative things about Freemasonry came from the Anti-Masonic party which was started by someone who was butt hurt with the private club.
