Intelligence does not always equal success. Many people of low intelligence are successful because they work hard and have a good attitude. This was true of American blacks, most of them, before the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 60s fucked them up. Actually what destroyed American blacks was a one-two punch. Punch One was the Jews who led the black civil rights movement, and bombarded blacks with destructive propaganda, telling them they were perpetual victims, and that they should blame whites for everything bad in their lives. Punch Two was Lyndon B. Johnson's "Great Society" welfare program, which took from blacks the necessity to work for a living. Work is ennobling. It gives a man, even a black man, self-respect. He sees that he can better his life with his own ingenuity and labor.
