What's holding Africans back are their genetics as seen by the state of African communities wherever they are found and this mythical Nigerian success is a joke by the media aimed at people like yourself. It's as much of a joke as the mythical Tulsa Wall Street that was an African paradise every bit as good as the real Wall Street.
There are MANY sources that will show how successful Nigerian immigrants have been in the US. You just need to accept that.

This is where it's at. If Nigerians were all such hard working geniuses than it wouldn't be a dump. The country is loaded with hydrocarbons, minerals and ores, and arable land. Yet in terms of development and economy is middle of the pack for subsaharan Africa, and a dump compared to most of the world.

What Nigerian Immigrants success in the US shows, is that African Americans have all of the opportunity they need to be successful, yet fail. There is that shitty custom many have in Africa about sharing wealth. One guy grows a crop to sell, and everyone believes they are entitled too some of it, in the end, the farmer is left with nothing. It is just lobsters dragging each other down in the bucket.
That shit isn't the same issue in the states.
