Even if they are intelligent and excel, that is also part of the problem. They are here for money, that's it. They aren't core Americans, and many don't value independent philosophy, but to be rich enough to live off the first world nature of this country and to buy comfort.

Also they will always think like a nigerian, causing nigerian conditions. Just because some immigrant can pass university classes or start a business, doesn't mean they are quality people.

I think you are explaining away something g that is really just related to Nigerian work ethic and the strong family influence they have.

Regardless of programs available to them, they still have to have the work ethic and intelligence to finish the coursework.

Are Haitian immigrants excelling at these rates? How about Yemen immigrants? How about somalian?

You asked for explanation. I gave it. Now you're saying I explained it away?

There is no single factor. But it's very dishonest to assume there is a level playing field. Will say, family/tribal contribution is likely a big factor. Works for Asians too.
