T-mobile has low band (n71 600 mhz), mid band (2.5 ghz n41) and high band (ghz range) 5G. Low bands go longer distances but carry less data than higher bands. 2.5 goes reasonably far (several miles). Also 5g can transmit better with a weaker signal. I had a shit n41 signal -110 db but was able to download at 200-300 mbps.

I've never been able to catch a 5G signal that was worth a shit. I just turned it off.
I'm not downloading anything on the phone except for Poal Shitposts, so LTE is fine.
