My wife and I are trying to allocate our last $100 tithe for this month. I can do it in cash in person to someone or online to a group.

I was going to give it to the church but tbh our church has a lot of money.

An actual homeless person is another idea. Donate to animal nonprofit is another.

What do you guys think? I know it's not a lot of money but I am dry on ideas.

They probably live in a shitty hood, where some thugboy will steal the bike at the first available opportunity...but you brought a kid some joy for awhile at least...and that is not to be discounted.

Yah, I thought about that. My first bike got stolen the same day. Actually, it was my third bike. My very first bike I found hidden the garage with grandpa 's junk. Rusty old ten speed with flat tires. I oiled up the chain and got patches for the innertubes. I rode it around for a few minutes when grandpa's brother came by, claimed it was his and took it. My older brother found me a bike with no brakes which I rode for a grand total of two minutes before crashing into a fence. Grandma drove me to the doctor to get my chin stitched up. The next day the grandparents fave me the new bike. I found it later that day in the school parking lot minus the banana seat and slick tires and carried it home. Grandma took me to a bicycle shop where a kind man replaced the missing tires and seat. It was a busy week for me. It was the first week of summer.
