Mexico has a really poor education system which is about nothing for farm workers and rural areas. So, I guess ignorant people like stupid music.

Those Portuguese bar songs sound similar to each other but vary enough so it's not all same same. Plus, the lyrical innuendos are hilarious. The one about the guy and his milking goat is hysterical. Cabrinha if I remember right.
