  1. These historical people must have had significance or beneficial for people outside their race. That means you cannot include figures like MLK, Mendela, Harriet Tubman.

  2. They cannot be in entertainment.

  3. They cannot be famous for being victims or criminals.

I've asked this to some friends that are rather educated in history and they had a hard time coming up with names.

Well...how many can you name in honor of this Black History month?

No. He was only famous because he was black and helped black watermelon farmers diversify into peanuts. Carter's actual contribution is fairly limited and hyped simplly because he's black.

Peanut butter was invented by south american natives centuried ago.

He didnt come up with the industrial process.

All he did was arrange machines.
