It’s good that your grown children are aware. And I’m glad that you were such a perfect person to produce such children. As much as I wish ours were more aware, I’m proud of the people they’ve become. They are hard working and loyal. Honest with integrity. Kind to the people in their worlds. Some have taken a circuitous route to get there. So, while being awake is important there are other equally important aspects of being a good citizen. I may have failing as a parent and as a human. I can guarantee you I’ve never done one thing. I’ve never stooped so low as to tell another parent they’re failed parents. I hope the apple and the tree do not apply in your case.
