How have you failed "in (your) own ways". What ways are those? Do you see others as failing "in their own ways", or do you just see them as failures?
Some things are more important than others is the point, thus some failures are more significant or impactful than others. Everyone has their own failures, though not all are self-aware enough to acknowledge them. Again the point here is to make more people who can think do just that. We all should be striving to consider other viewpoints, as is the central point in critical thinking. Yet to fail to teach critical thinking, and to apply it in our own lives, there is no greater failure when it comes to leaving a legacy.
I understand that all people have failures. Though I do find it strange sometimes to see how often we tell others what their failures are while we only generalize our own.. Myself included since this engagement certainly seems related.
Oh don't get me wrong, I know the specifics of my failures. I just don't care to air my dirt on the internet. I'm by no means a KB warrior, I am very aware of my faults and apologize for them when I fail my grown children, to the point that they are used to it by now. Forgiveness comes quick this way. My goal was to never become my boomer parents. For that I feel I have succeeded.
