I woke up feeling dizzy and slightly nauseous. No other symptoms. Didn't drink alk or do any drugs last night. Yesterday was a normal day.

Stayed home from work, don't trust myself to drive. Am I dying? I sure hope so.

When you say dizzy, so you mean that you feel lightheaded or that you're experiencing a sense of vertigo (sense of motion when you're not moving)?

Both, intermittently, also slight nausea, but I can walk. I'm 54, in top shape, never sick. This is troubling. I never go to the doctor, never get sick.

Any hearing issues (either difficulty hearing, distorted sound, or tinnitus)? Or just vertigo?

No, just vertigo, altho it's slightly better now. I have no explanation.
