Red pilled people. Majority unvaxxed. High corruption. Rapid economic growth in last ten years. Oil is a big export. So is car manufacturing (Dacia is Romanian and sold throughout Europe). Very materialistic society in Bucharest. People spend their money on leasing nice cars but not focusing on saving for a home and retirement so largely persuaded by marketing and flashy lifestyle. Lots of tax fraud, embezzling, bribing, etc so you see some extremely rich crooks driving $50k plus German cars that are richer than in America or the average Bucharest resident. High pollution in Bucharest. Romanian countryside is pretty like Transylvania. Some very smart people that work very hard and a lot of average people. Romanians are cynical from communism and struggles with developing in 90s-2000s with free markets, and tremendous level of fraud, corruption, crookedness, lower quality of life, etc. Leads to a cynical view of world. As a result, they are based. Majority of Romanians under 40 speak English fairly fluently especially young.
No niggers in Bucharest. Literally. None. Extremely safe. Safer than any Western city. Jewish communism and communist buildings are a stain on Romania’s architecture pre communism. Romanian drivers are the worst in Europe. Always feel like you’re going to be run over by shit drivers.
Sighișoara, Timisoara, Cluj, Brasov still retain euro architectural beauty pre communism. Google pics of them they’re very pretty.
All in all, it’s a better place to be white than America. But quality of life is better in America. Think Uncle Ted where industrialization leads to destruction of family, culture, and society - second world is a good balance of modern amenities and family and trad values - but Romanians in cities increasingly abandoning orthodox Christianity and values for economic success. No Amazon prime or Costco or American amenities. Gloomy winters. But as it rapidly westernizes it will look no different than the West in ten years. Young women are already pozzed thanks to smart phones and social media. But less so than westerners. Also their birth rates are falling and Romania's population has been falling due to Romanians leaving for better economic opportunities in Western Europe.

Not Romania but I visited Hungary once. Seeing the architecture and statues everywhere is jaw dropping. The closest thing we have in America is McDonalds billboards, disgusting. Your post reminding me of that makes me want to go again.
The closest city in USA to European architecture is Charleston, SC but it’s shit compared to Europe.
I feel like in the US it's just better to live in the woods. That's our forte over Europe, more space and with it the ability to carve out your own island sorta speak.
