Every person has their one issue that is personal to them; for some its abortion, or the economy, or child abuse, or taxation. etc, etc.... find their hot button issue that they are passionate about and hammer on it. If you can figure out what that issue is you can then begin to recondition them on that one subject. Once they have swallowed the hook on that issue then start peeling back the onion by introducing new ideas and criticisms as they become more accepting. This take a long time but it works every time... More specifically to your question. For Fox news watchers I don't try and cold turkey them off of Fox news. Instead, I get them other subscriptions to main line alternative news sources like epoch, gateway, zerohedge, OAN, etc. Most old timers are just stuck in their ways and dont know where to go or who to trust so they just stay with Fox, but if you show them the options they will naturally migrate to other options as they have their own path of discovery.
