Back in the late 90s early 2000s I worked for a company that had a contract with the DoD, as a on-site ''field service engineer" for equipment the DoD purchased. I had an annual 90 rotation to the middle-east. The DoD required everyone being deployed to get the Anthrax vaccine. I tried to resist, but was told vax or be fired. So I was sent to a military clinic to get the vax. An enlisted medic came with the documentation and a syringe. I laid a $100 bill on top of the documentation and told him I just need it in my medical records that I've had the vax. I have in my records I had the Anthrax vax. Side note: it is a 6 shot series with weeks between, shortly after that first event it was no longer 'required'.
