There has to be a point when we get sick of each other. Or at least needed a break.

Well, she hasn't yet, not really. We spend time alone but most of the time its me who initiates it, I have something or another to do. Its been about 13 years and she has yet to do it, most of the time she is telling me how we need to spend more time together because I've got too many projects going on.

I thought something was wrong with me for a minute lol. Mine either we have spent everyday together except 2 days for the last 22 years

When we were dating, and at some points I asked the same from her. We both enjoy our alone time and both have hobbies, and are very open with communication. It makes for good conversation.

Like 2 years in I think

Did you want alone time sooner?

Not really I was enjoying being a newly Wed. After about two years though it wasn't really a conscious decision we just kind of gave each other a little more space.

I am the one that encourages the alone time. Actually, I'm kicking her out tonight for some girl time so I can watch the last hockey game of the season in silence.

Never, she thrives on contact. Me OTOH not so much.

After two years she just stopped complaining when I would leave for a hunting or fishing trip and now she encourages me to go

Ok. Two years after marriage.

Did you have arguments about it before that?

Constantly, she never wanted me to leave the house then all of a sudden she wanted me out

Did you want alone time sooner?

It’s so much as me wanting alone time as it was having hobbies outside the home that she doesn’t like, I would just as soon take her with if she would enjoy them.

After 17 years not yet.
