I just saw an article about how to get started in writing and I noticed it was written by him. It’s the first time I’ve heard about him in years.

He was a degenerate fuck, but he was funny.

He was smart. Instead of signing on with another publisher for a couple bucks per book he started his own publishing company and made much more money.
