Listen stop arguing. Metric is the way to go. The more zero's you add after a decimal the more accuracy you loose. Most machining in metric is done in hundredths or thousands of a millimeter. In standard you're at 10 thousands which looses accuracy. Not only that why in the fuck would you not want to have a system based on 1-10. easy to calculate in your head. This is the way.
