That's our modern system of "choice" and reality. You slave to a faceless corporation for your entire life, trying to catch crumbs as they fall and never actually having a life of meaning or fulfillment. And every year there is less and less crumbs and you watch as your life, and your possibilities with it, slowly diminish.
