What book of "Enoch"?

The first book of Enoch. One of the dead sea scrolls. Each of the apocryphal texts is an interesting read.

Just a rumor I heard, but the dead sea scrolls were a fraud created by israelis to lay historic claim to the dead sea.

I could see that, but then a few of the books were found in a couple other places. The book of Enoch, in particular, was quoted in several places in the bible. The truth probably lies somewhere in between. I could see some books/scrolls being added with the ones found in order to create confusion. Much the same way modern jews use "conspiracy theories" to control and distort the information out there.

'Interesting' might be pushing it....but I'd call it 'required' reading for any decent understanding of the xtian/jew crossover. I'd add: http://gnosis.org/naghamm/nhl.html being as it is closer more to xtian BS.
