If you have a boar hog that has not been neutered and the boar for some reason turns out to be a bad breeder and you decide to eat him instead the meat most likely will have a very strong taste and smell. In order to castrate a 350-500 lbs boar I would feed it corn that had soaked and fermented to attach a nose ring and tie it's legs to opposite trees to castrate it , or alternately to keep it drunk and sedate for several days before ending it's life quietly and quickly. We would have tackle set up to hoist it and bleed it immediately as well. If you are lucky and it had not gotten worked up over a period of time the meat was edible.
