Debating, on one hand I prefer crossfit and high intensity workouts, since that's what I used to do. However, I highly doubt my body will be able to keep up anymore from the degrading health of my body. But on the other hand, I don't like the static nature of working out at a traditional gym

It depends on what your goals are. If you want bigger muscles aka hypertrophy, then higher reps/more sets. If you want raw strength then, low reps/fewer sets. Those are just a couple considerations.
