So I had the Vid last week, bad cold whooptydooo. Last couple days I could feel my sinuses getting funky with a slight headache. Today it's a full blown sinus infection with a debilitating headache, I can't even think straight it's so painful. So I get a prescription for antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory steroid. It's transferred electronically. I drive 15min to the pharmacy and they say it's going to be another 45min.

How long does it take to put some pills from a large bottle into a small bottle and print a label? Seriously. WTF!?

Edit: Wow. Those steroids are fucking amazing. No more pressure, no more incapacitating pain. Fuck yes. That pain was my body fucking itself up. No need for that.

Yeah your doctor is supposed to do this too but no one actually does. The amount of people on multiple drugs that have serious interactions is astounding. So many people on pharma speed balls (Adderall, pain pills) for their chronic pain and muh adhd. Lot of people drinking while they take benzos cuz their doctors tell them it’s fine even though it can make you stop breathing and cause serious brain damage. I knew a guy once that was on 2mg xanax and fentanyl patches every day. That shit can make you stop breathing. Also people on antidepressants and cough meds at the same time. can cause serotonin syndrome.

There is a lot of that going on, but I'm sure pharmacists at big chain pharmacies have to perform some sort of check in the computer system, however sloppy or half-assed they click through it. So instead of 30 seconds of counting pills there's an additional 5 minutes of fucking around with computers too.
