The old timers in my family never had anything good to say about him, or his family. My grandpa always blamed prohibition on his dad. Shady backroom deals brought on prohibition and left old man kennedy being the only legal source of licker in the country. And that was supposedly how they built their fortune. Grandpa always said that the apple didn't fall far from the tree. As for the Kennedys of today, I would think that if your dad and uncle were taken out by the deep state when you were just a little child, and your cousin when you were older, it would have a great impact on how you saw the, deep state v the people, struggle. He just might have a deep seated hatred for the deep state and want to spend his life destroying them.
